Venturi

A basic apparatus consist of a pipe-work, a restrictor and an extended tube that injects air into the water. It is made from a pipe-work with a restrictor inside and an air tube that extends above water level. When water is pumped through, the restrictor forces air to be sucked in from the tube above water level and mixed with water inside the pipe-work to cause thousands of tiny bubbles that both aerate the water and improve circulation. Available in 250mm and 500mm Venturi.

Air Membrane Diffuser Disc

The membrane diffuser is very efficient, as it provides large volumes of fine bubbles through an easy releasing membrane with very low resistance or back pressure, to the air pump.

The disc can be used on its own or can be fitted onto the bottom drain to create more efficient water circulation into the drain, thereby improving removal of pond solids from the pond bottom. Please go to Bottom Drain for more options in sufficiently utilizing the diffuser disc.

The heavy-duty membrane with highly durable base witch is constructed of molded polypropylene. The precision perforated 'I' slits open when airflow is present, close went airflow is stopped, resist tearing, and stay cleaner longer. A standard 3/4" diffuser pipe thread makes it convenient to replace existing coarse bubble diffusers. Stainless steel 304 Clamping Ring tightens to hold the membrane firmly in place. Center triple O-rings support the center of the membrane when airflow is absent.
